From your distributors' sales files to your artists' statements.

Loyalties reads your sales from Believe, Sony Music, Universal Music or Warner Music, applies each artist's contract, produces clear statements for every period, monthly, quarterly or half-yearly, and shows you where your revenue comes from. Built for independent labels.

What you will see in the demo

These screenshots come from Vélin Records, the fictional label the demo opens for you: six artists, six months of sales, statements already calculated.

Distributor files, exactly as they arrive

Drop the CSV your distributor sends you. Loyalties recognises its format, matches every line to its track by ISRC or barcode, and sorts sales by territory, platform and channel.

  • Physical sales stay apart from streaming.
  • In the demo, drop your own file too to see your sales sorted: up to 50 MB in the demo, 200 MB with your account.

Each artist's contract, applied line by line

One rate for everything, a rate per channel or territory, a tier that goes from 25% to 28% above a threshold, an advance to recoup: every rule applies to the right sales. Editing a contract creates a new version, and the old one stays available.

  • Timo Lazare received a €15,000 advance: €12,939.32 is still to be recouped from his sales.
  • Oda Ferrand earns 22% in France and 18% elsewhere.
  • Three years after its release, Mélo Vireux's album Veilleuse moved to the back catalogue contract: 35% instead of 25%.

Who you owe what, at a glance

The dashboard brings together the label's revenue, the artists' share, statements to publish, payments due and advances still to recoup. The chart shows the trend month by month.

  • Vélin Records: €20,423.38 of revenue over six months, €4,812.03 of it for the artists.
  • 4 statements to pay, €12,939.32 of advances still to recoup.

Where your revenue comes from

A map of revenue by country, your best-earning tracks, each artist's share, platforms and physical sales. Enough to know where to tour, what to push and what to press.

  • France brings in €16,241.17, followed by Belgium and Switzerland.

A statement the artist understands

Opening balance, royalties for the period, adjustments, closing balance, then the detail by rule and by track. Every artist gets their own free access: they download their statements as PDFs and only see their own.

  • Mélo Vireux earns 25% up to €1,500 of cumulative sales, then 28%. Threshold crossed: in June, 28% of €543.37.

Hosted in Europe
The database and files are in Paris, calculations run in Amsterdam. Payments go through Stripe, in Ireland: no card details are ever stored by Loyalties.
Every label kept apart
Every table in the database filters data by label. These rules were tested by attacking the app from other accounts: a label never sees another label's data, and an artist only sees their own statements.
A history of every contract
A contract is never edited in place. Each change creates a dated version, and each statement keeps the version used for its calculation.
Private statements
PDFs are kept in private storage, available only to the label and the artist concerned.

Why Loyalties

I am a composer. I started as a work-study student at an independent label, then worked as a Royalties Manager and Royalties Analyst at a distributor. My job: turn each month's platform sales into statements for labels. After that, it was up to them to work out how to pay their artists.

On the other side, as a composer and beatmaker, I saw how hard it is to receive royalties on the recording. The same argument keeps coming back: someone would have to be paid to do the split.

Loyalties does that work. That is where the name comes from: royalties and loyalty. The label imports its distributors' files, and every artist receives a clear statement, every period.
